Wako’s mESF Basal Medium is a serum free formulation that can be used to culture mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells. Mouse ES cells can be cultured in a feeder-free system by adding mESF supplements and Leukaemia Inhibitory Factor ( LIF) without the need for foetal bovine serum (FBS) or a serum replacement.
