DNA Markers

A range of DNA Molecular weight markers that set size standards for linear double stranded DNA.  These markers are formulated to run accurately and to provide crisp band patterns.

All markers require addition of loading buffer and dye of your choice except for EL3000 and EL3010 that include loading dye and are ready to use. Plasmid digests for low molecular weight ranges, lambda phage and T4 digests for higher molecular weight ranges. 

Lambda phage digests should be heat treated before use for 5 min at 65°C with salt (> 10 mmol / l) or EDTA (> 5 mmol / l) to prevent annealing of fragments.
