The Specimen Containers are food contact approved and testing has been carried out to for suitability with aggressive chemicals such as formaldehyde.
The Leak-proof, 95kPa Tested certification makes them suitable for sample transport according to UN3373 packaging instructions, when combined with appropriate secondary and tertiary packaging, such as our Rigid Flexible Packaging Systems.
Benefits
The containers are manufactured from durable polypropylene and the caps are made from high density polyethylene (HDPE).
High Clarity
The high-clarity container walls have graduations in 10ml increments on 3 sides, to ensure contents and their volumes are easily visible.
Easy Opening and Closure
The caps are designed with easy-to-grip ridges and the base of each container is also ridged to ensure opening and closing the container is easy, even when wearing gloves.
Leak-proof and 95kPa Tested
A process validation has been carried out on these disposable plastic specimen containers to ensure the unique “double seal” closure technology remains leak-proof under a pressure differential of not less 95 kPa (0.95 bar,14 psi). The containers are only certified to be leak-proof to 95kPa when used with their specific caps. This certification makes them suitable for sample transport according to UN3373 packaging instructions, when combined with appropriate secondary and tertiary packaging, such as our Rigid Flexible Packaging Systems.
