Product Information
After being secreted from various cells, extracellular vesicles (EVs) stably exist in body fluids and are currently attracting a lot of clinical attention as a messenger for cell-to-cell communication and biomarkers for disease, among many others.
This kit uses non-magnetic resin and the phosphatidylserine (PS)-affinity method to capture intact small extracellular vesicles, such as exosomes in a metallic ion-dependant manner, similar to the MagCapture™ Exosome Isolation kit (290-84103), which uses magnetic beads.
Features:
-Highly pure extracellular vesicles are obtained by PS affinity method.
-Extracellular vesicles are obtained in nearly intact state.
-Purification is possible simply by centrifugation without a magnetic stand.
-An optimal protocol can be set by the amount of a sample （1.2 mL to 40 mL）.
-Ultrafiltration concentration of a sample is unnecessary.
