ISOHAIR DNA Extraction Kit produced by Nippon Gene Co and supplied via FUJIFILM Wako Chemicals
The ISOHAIR DNA extraction kit is for isolation of genomic DNA from hair and nail samples. The major component of such samples is the protein keratin which generally requires prolonged incubation with degrading enzyme. The ISOHAIR kit enables rapid extraction of genomic DNA in 1 hour.

Sample Requirement-
Human Hair: 1cm hair root sample (cut 1cm from the root end) or
4cm hair shaft sample (cut as 2cm and 6cm from the root end)
Human Nail: 2 pieces of nail tip cut into 1x1mm squares (total of 0.5mg)
Also suitable for use with mouse tissues.
