Product Information
After being secreted from various cells, extracellular vesicles (EVs) stably exist in body fluids and are currently attracting a lot of clinical attention as a messenger for cell-to-cell communication and biomarkers for disease, among many others.
The Exosome Isolation method utilises Tim4 immobilised magnetic beads, which binds to phosphatidylserine (PS) expressed on the surface of EVs. Intact EVs are then eluted by Ca2+ chelating agents, such as EDTA.
The Flow Cytometry kit can qualitatively analyse extracellular vesicles contained in cell culture supernatants or body fluid samples. and detect surface marker proteins* on exosomes with high sensitivity by flow cytometry, after capturing.
