The Feel The Seal Range is designed for tight leak-proof closure, for safe, ultra-low temperature storage, of biological material, human or animal cells.

Internally Threaded cap fits flush with tube, so cap and tube diameter are uniform, maximising space optimisation. It uses a specially designed silicone O-ring around the cap, which provides a positive leak-proof seal. It’s true, you really can feel when the cap is securely closed. As you tighten it, you can feel the quality of your seal while you compress the O-ring between the tube wall and the cap, creating a tight leak-proof closure. Ideal when storing important samples in large batches.

The cap and tube are made from the same material so with temperature change, they shrink and expand in unison ensuring an equally secure seal both at room temperature and at low cryogenic temperatures.

Strong vial and cap – Made from a special grade of polypropylene, chosen for its consistent strength, both vial and cap can withstand the harsh -196C temperature of vapour phase liquid nitrogen, and the thick wall makes the vial almost unbreakable. Please note that they are not designed for use in the liquid phase.

Fast opening/closing - Requires just 1 ¼ turns for secure cap closure. This is crucial during high throughput sample handling, making it time efficient with a reduced chance of unsecure cap closure.

These 5.0ml round-bottom vials have graduations at 100μl intervals to facilitate reading of your sample volume and a large white marking area for labelling and identification.

Tubes can be colour coded with a cap insert, 10 individual colours options or an assorted colours (LW3339AS) pack are available.

These CE marked cryogenic vials can be centrifuged, at up to 17,000g.
All vials are gamma irradiated to ensure absolute sterility.
