The Drummond Oocyte Microinjection Pipette is a variable volume positive displacement microdispenser that provides accurate and reproducible volume dispensing in the range 30nL to 10µl. The Oocyte microinjection Pipette features a non-rotating plunger to allow precise deposition. It uses pulled microinjection capillaries which must be drawn from borosilicate glass capillaries. Microinjection capillary pullers can range from simple spring/counter weight mechanical pullers to highly sophisticated programmable microprocessor controlled pullers. Pulled tips make piercing of cell membranes much easier and minimise skipping or cell rupturing. A vial of 8 inch (203.2mm) length borosilicate glass capillaries is included with the Pipette. Both 8 inch and 3.5 inch (88.9mm) capillaries are available to order separately. The Oocyte Microinjection Pipette is supplied as a pack of 1 and replacement parts are available.
