Glucose

Measurement of glucose concentration in serum or plasma is mainly used in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes mellitus.

Enzymatic-colorimetric determination of glucose in serum, plasma and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).

  • Single liquid-stable reagent

  • Linearity: up to 400 mg/dL

  • On-board stability is typically 60 days

Glutamate Dehydrogenase (GLDH)

Mitochondrial enzyme glutamate dehydrogenase (GLDH) is found in a number of tissues but serum GLDH originates predominately from hepatocytes in the liver and increased serum concentrations are indicative of liver damage.

Assay for quantification of GLDH in serum or plasma.

  • Ready to use liquid reagents

  • Linearity: Up to 120 U/L

  • UV kinetic method in accordance with DGKC

Hormone Assays

Hormone assays can play an important role in the diagnosis of a wide number of conditions including thyroid dysfunction and fertility investigations.

Our range of ELISA assay kits from Dialab is suitable for analysis of serum or plasma.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA)

HA is an unbranched glycosaminoglycan, composed of a single polymer chain of disaccharide units containing N-acetylhexosamine and hexose. Serum concentration of HA has been proven to be the most effective marker for assessing liver cirrhosis. HA can also be used, in conjunction with other markers, to accurately stage liver fibrosis.

  • Dual liquid-stable reagent

  • Linearity: Up to 1000 ng/ml

  • Open-vial stability: 30 days when stored at 2-10C

Iron

Iron exists in biological fluids as a component of haemoglobin and myoglobin as well as bound to transferrin (for transport in plasma) and ferritin (for storage). Increased iron concentrations occur in haemochromatosis and liver damage. Decreased iron levels (anaemia) can be caused by malabsorption as consequence of gastrointestinal diseases or by blood loss as a result of gastrointestinal lesions or heavy menstrual bleeding.

  • Dual liquid-stable reagent

  • Linearity: up to 1000 μg/dL

  • Open-vial stability: 90 days when stored at 2-8C

  • Includes standard
