University of Bristol Annual Technicians Conference

A brilliant opportunity for over 200 of the University's key technical staff and buyers to meet with Alpha Laboratories.
This year's theme focuses on working together, improving communications within the technical community, and learning about what other technicians do both within the University and externally, entitled "Cooperate and Develop".
The event has a great line-up of keynote speakers and breakout sessions.
Drug Discovery 2024

Drug Discovery 2024 is Europe’s largest conference for the drug discovery community with scientific tracks covering not only therapeutic themes such as mechanisms of ageing and cell & gene therapy, but also more practical aspects of drug discovery encompassing advances in assay design, applications in high content imaging, target identification and disease modelling.
In the middle of all this science there is the exhibition hall, which is a great opportunity to meet over two hundred drug discovery suppliers and to learn about all the latest products and services.

HM-JACKarc FIT User Group Meeting
On 13th September 2022, Alpha Laboratories held a user group meeting in Birmingham.
This exclusive event brought together laboratory users to share a wealth of knowledge and experience. It provided the perfect opportunity for them to network with fellow users and to exchange views and ideas about their experience of using Faecal Immunochemical Testing in their clinics or laboratories.
ACB Focus
On 7th June at ACB Focus 2018, Alpha Laboratories sponsored a workshop: ‘FIT to Practice?’ which was chaired by Professor Callum Fraser and presented by Nigel D’Souza and Sally Benton. Nigel D’Souza presented preliminary data on the NICE FIT study, the largest multi-centre FIT trial in England, whilst Sally Benton discussed the technical capabilities and clinical outcomes from FIT Testing in the symptomatic.

Digestive Diseases Day
On the 15th November 2017 Alpha Laboratories held a Digestive Diseases Day workshop in Birmingham. This educational day brought together experts in the field to discuss recent advances in clinical diagnostics for gastroenterology, covering symptomatic FIT and faecal calprotectin implementation.
