Traditional Lancets
These single-use lancets are designed for safe, simple fingerstick punctures to collect capillary blood whilst minimising patient discomfort. With an automatic needle retraction system to reduce the risk of accidental injury, their ergonomic and intuitive design allows the device to be held securely and precisely at the sampling point with minimum training needed.
The lancets are sterile, CE certified and therefore manufactured to European Medical Directive 93/42/EEC with a Class IIa classification.
Cleansing Swabs and Wipes
A range of single use materials for pre- and post-injection skin cleansing or sterilisation;
AeroWipe™ Alcohol Swabs are saturated with 70% isopropyl alcohol, serving as a perfect pre-injection cleansing component for blood sampling kits.
AeroWipe™ Saline Cleansing Wipes are gentle and effective swabs for cleaning minor wounds, perfect as a pre-injection or aftercare care cleaning component in blood sampling kits.
AeroSwab™ Gauze Swabs are sterile dressings, serving as a high-quality first-aid component for protecting wounds.
Plasters
Sterile, individually wrapped, latex-free, wash proof adhesive rectangular plasters. High-quality adhesive backing and water resistant, providing excellent wound protection.
Ideal for inclusion as a component in a diagnostic blood test kit.
These plasters have been manufactured to EN ISO 13485:2016 specifications and CE marked.
Blood Tubes
The 10mL Vacutainers are specifically designed for venous blood sampling, providing you with perfectly preserved, uncoagulated blood for further downstream testing.
Smaller tubes have been designed to be used for the collection, transportation and processing of small amounts of capillary blood. They contain K2EDTA that is intended for the primary containment and preservation of specimens for the purpose of in-vitro diagnostic examination. Specifically to obtain and separate a whole blood or EDTA plasma sample.
The tubes are non-sterile, manufactured from polypropylenel. Each tube is fitted with a high density polyethylene (HDPE) cap that has the BD Microgard™ closure, a safety-engineered closure protecting users against blood splashing after the tube has been opened. This minimises the dangers of unscreened blood mixing and also prevents the contamination of samples.
Nitrile Gloves
AeroGlove™ Nitrile Gloves are sterile, latex and powder free. Being both easy to apply and remove, these gloves are suitable for single-use applications.
Medium and large sizes are available.
The Nitrile Gloves come in individual packs containing 1 pair, making them an ideal component in phlebotomy kits.
We also offer a wide range of other UN3373 compliant secondary packaging such as rigid boxes, absorbent sheets, 95kPa pouches, labels, mailing bags and envelopes.
