Product Information

These BD Vacutainer® Safety-Lok™ Blood Collection Sets are designed for venous blood collection by healthcare professionals. Each set consists of a 19mm long 23G (0.6mm) needle, 178mm of tubing a safety re-shielding cover and Luer adapter.

The makeup of these sets provides excellent versatility, suitable for blood sampling and also short-term infusions up to 2 hours. This set contains an integrated Safety-Lok™ re-shielding system for increased safety for both the user and patient, reducing the change of accidental needlestick accidents. The Safety-Lok™ system can be activated using a single hand, providing exceptional ease of use. It works by covering the needle on removal from the puncture site, completely covering it and therefore preventing accidental needle sticks. On successful activation an audible click is heard, allowing you to be confident of your safety and focus more closely on the patient, allowing an improved experience for the patient.

This product is provided in cases of 200 sets (4 packs of 50 sets).
