The Quantum Blue® Reader (BI-POCTR-ABS) analyses colorimetric tests by reflectometry and is designed for use with the BÜHLMANN lateral flow cartridges for the quantitative determination of calprotectin from faeces and serum and for therapeutic drug monitoring. Compact, bench top device ideal for point-of-care, clinic or low throughput laboratory settings for screening and monitoring of patients.
Automatic entry of the lot specific and test information through an integral RFID reader helps support ISO 15189 requirements. Performs data and result handling (including time of test, user ID, patient ID, raw and interpreted data) including printing comprehensive test reports.

A clear digital reading in µg/g means no subjectivity in the analysis. The fast and precise scanning allows the detection of quantitative results in 15 minutes (excluding extraction time) and the data are stored automatically and can be printed or translated to a computer, if required. All stored data include measuring time, date, user ID, patient ID, raw data, etc .
The mobile reader is powered by rechargeable batteries or with the external power supply, provides precise measurements for mobile use in the field or fixed use in the laboratory. This assay is ideal for low volume laboratories, or labs which need rapid turn-around time.
