WIDE-VIEW III pre-stained protein size markers produced by FUJIFILM Wako Pure Chemical Corporation.
WIDE-VIEW III pre-stained protein size markers are intended for use in electrophoresis applications to help confirm the progress of electrophoresis and transfer efficiency. WIDE-VIEW III contains recombinant proteins bound to stain which assist in estimating the kDa of sample proteins in protein electrophoresis with a range of 11-245kDa.
This protein size marker gives 12 bands:
Proteins with 11, 17, 20, 35, 48, 63, 100, 135, 180 and 245kDa are stained blue, a 25kDa marker is stained green and a 75kDa marker bound to red stain.
Whilst protein size markers cannot be used as a guide to protein size when running phos-tag SDS PAGE they can be used to confirm transfer efficiency. WIDE-VIEW III is the recommended marker for use in phos-tag SDS-PAGE as band distortion is minimised.
Store at -20C.
500µl is sufficient for approximately 100 applications.
