BCIP/NBT Solution produced by FUJIFILM Wako Chemical Corporation.

BCIP (5-Bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl-phosphate) and NBT (Nitro blue Tetrazolium) generate an insoluble, dark blue-purple coloured product by alkaline phosphatase. This reaction can be used for detection by Western blotting. This ready to use solution is prepared as a substrate for colouring at a concentration suitable for immunoblotting.
