Anti PIWIL1 mouse MIWI human HIWI Clone 2C12 monoclonal antibody for immunoprecipitation (IP) manufactured by Wako Pure Chemicals.

PIWI subfamily of argonaute proteins are expressed in germ cells and other stem cells. PIWI has an important role in regulation of cell differentiation and development by harbouring piRNA in these cells. This mouse monoclonal antibody recognises human and mouse PIWIL (HIWI and MIWI) and was purified from mouse ascites. Clone 2C12 was produced using a synthesised partial peptide of PIWIL1 coupled with bovine thyroglobulin (BTG).

This monoclonal antibody is used for immunoprecipitation (IP) of HIWI (human PIWIL1) and MIWI (mouse PIWIL1).

Isotype IgG3.

Suggested dilution for immunoprecipitation applications: 5-10µg/10% Protein G beads slurry.
