Product Information
Anti-Mouse Ago 3 Monoclonal Antibody produced by Wako Pure Chemicals
Argonaute (Ago) proteins are the catalytic components of the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC). RISC is the protein complex response responsible for RNA interference. Argonaute proteins bind different classes of small non-coding RNAs including microRNAs (miRNAs), small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) and Piwi-interacting RNAs (piRNAs).
This mouse monoclonal antibody recognises human Argonaute protein Ago3. It is produced by hybridoma clone 1C12, established by fusing mouse myeloma cells P3U1 and lymphocytes of BALB/c mice immunised with synthetic partial peptides of Ago 3 protein which was coupled with bovine thyroglobulin (BTG). This antibody was purified from hybridoma culture medium. Suitable for isolation of human Ago 3 and its associated microRNAs through immunoprecipitation.
Anti-Ago3 : Clone 1C12 50µl
Formulation: 1 x TBS, pH 7.4 with 10 % Glycerol and 0.05 % Sodium Azide
Isotype IgG1
Suggested dilution for Immunoprecipitation: 5-10µg/20µl 10% Protein G beads slurry
Store at 2-8°C in the dark.
For research use only.
