Anti-Ago 2 Monoclonal Antibody produced by Wako Pure Chemicals

Argonaute (Ago) proteins are the catalytic components of the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC). RISC is the protein complex response responsible for RNA interference. Argonaute proteins bind different classes of small non-coding RNAs including microRNAs (miRNAs), small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) and Piwi-interacting RNAs (piRNAs).

This mouse monoclonal antibody recognises mouse Argonaute protein 2 and cross reacts with rat and hamster Ago2. It is produced by hybridoma clone 2D4 and suitable for immunoprecipitation or Western Blotting applications.

Anti-Ago 2 50µl:
Formulation: 1xTBS (pH 7.4) aqueous solution with 10% glycerol containing 0.05% sodium azide.
Isotype IgG1.
Suggested dilution for Western Blotting: 1:200-1000
Immunoprecipitation 10µg/20µl 10% Protein G beads slurry
