Product Information
Anti-Mouse Ago 1 Monoclonal Antibody produced by Wako Pure Chemicals
Argonaute (Ago) proteins are the catalytic components of the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC). RISC is the protein complex response responsible for RNA interference. Argonaute proteins bind different classes of small non-coding RNAs including microRNAs (miRNAs), small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) and Piwi-interacting RNAs (piRNAs).
This mouse monoclonal antibody recognises mouse Argonaute protein Ago1. It is produced by hybridoma clone 2A7, established by fusing mouse myeloma cells P3U1 and lymphocytes of BALB/c mice immunised with synthetic partial peptides of Ago 1 protein which was coupled with bovine thyroglobulin (BTG). This antibody was purified from hybridoma culture medium. Suitable for isolation of mouse or human Ago 1 and its associated microRNAs through immunoprecipitation.
Anti-Ago 1 : Clone 2A7 50µl:
Formulation: 0.05 % Sodium Azide, 10 % Glycerol with 1 x TBS, pH 7.4
Isotype IgG2a
Suggested dilution for Immunoprecipitation: 5-10µg/20µl 10% Protein G beads slurry
Store at 2-8°C in the dark.
For research use only.
