rBC2LCN-635 undifferentiated human ES and iPS cell marker 100µl produced by FUJIFILM Wako Chemical Corporation

rBC2LCN (AiLecS1) is a recombinant lectin expressed in E coli that corresponds to the N-terminal domain of BC2LCN derived from Burkholderia cenocepacia. rBC2LCN binds specifically to Fuc α1-2Gal β1-3GlcNAc containing glycans and has been shown to be a marker of undifferentiated human iPS and ES cells. This lectin has been labelled with 635 a red fluorescence dye similar to Cy5 and can be used directly for analysis of living undifferentiated cells by adding to culture medium. No cytotoxic effects are detected when cells are continuously cultured in the presence of this probe for several days. Suitable for both cell staining and flow cytometry protocols.
