Anti-Phosphorylated Alpha Synuclein conjugated with Biotin produced by Wako Pure Chemicals.
Lewy bodies are abnormal aggregates of protein that form within nerve cells in Parkinson's disease, Lewy Body Dementia and other disorders collectively referred to as synucleinopathies. Serine 129 of the α-synuclein protein is extensively and selectively phosphorylated in synucleinopathy lesions.
Anti-Phosphorylated α synuclein is a mouse monoclonal antibody which is specific for α--synuclein phosphorylated at Ser 129. It will detect human and rodent phosphorylated α--synuclein but does not cross-react with non-phosphorylated α--synuclein. It was established by mouse myeloma cell PAI and spleen cells of BALB/c mice immunised with peptide residues 124-134 of human α-synuclein. This antibody has been conjugated with biotin so there is no need for a secondary antibody .
