The optimised dilution of stool sample yields maximum extraction efficiency while offering stability of the calprotectin and elastase extracts at room temperature.

CALEX® Cap is certified for safe air and land transportation according to IATA 650 (UN3373) regulations. This allows the option to outsource preanalytics to the patient’s homes, thereby increasing safety for laboratories and revolutionizing the workflow of stool testing in terms of speed, efficiency and cost savings.

The CALEX® Cap Collection Set is fully compatible with automated procedures such as BÜHLMANN fCAL® turbo and BÜHLMANN fPELA® turbo, the random access immunoturbidimetric assays. Optimised dilution of stool extracts provides access to all BÜHLMANN calprotectin assays such as Quantum Blue® and the BÜHLMANN fCAL® ELISA.
