Microplate inertGrade™ black 96-well with transparent F-bottom manufactured by BRAND®.

Produced from pure, newly synthesized polystyrene with a sterile, cell repellent surface, assisting in reduced cell adhesion, protein adsorption and keeps enzyme activation and cellular activation to a minimum. The black surface absorbs light and reduces background signal in fluorescence applications.

Can be used with black vinyl sealing film (BK-50) to maximise signal in fluorescence assays. Affix seal to the top of the plate when using instruments that read from beneath the well; for intruments that measure above the plate apply to the base of the plate to create a 'solid' black plate.

Suitable for all ANSI/SLAS conforming analytic equipment.

The F-bottom well is designed for precise optical measurements and is well suited for colorimetric determinations as well as cell culture and microscopy applications. The transparent bottom of the plate allows for easy viewing of samples within the wells.

Pinch bar design of the plate supports working with robots, and the chimney shaped wells reduce cross-contamination.
