Collagenase Type I produced by FUJIFILM Wako Chemical Corporation

Type I collagenase from Clostridium histolyticum with a balance of collagenase, caseinase, clostripain and trypsin activities. This matrix metalloprotease breaks the peptide bonds in collagen. This product has collagenolytic and proteolytic activity and is effective at breaking down intracellular matrices for tissue dissociation. Typically used for isolation of cells from epithelial tissue, lung and adipose tissue.
