Product Information

Carrazzi's hematoxylin (X2) produced by FUJIFILM Wako Pure Chemical Corporation

Carrazzi's hematoxylin is used primarily as a cytodiagnostic tool; with the proper differentiation protocol it can stain intranuclear structures with remarkable clarity. Carrazzi's Hematoxylin Solution (x2) contains twice as much hematoxylin as the ordinary Carrazzi's solutions and is suited to use with ultra-thin sections. Nuclei are stained a slightly deeper blue by the Carrazzi method than by the Mayer. For pathology research.
