Tip Low Retention Aerogard® Graduated 0.1-10µl Filtered Racked Sterile 31mm in length for reduced sample retention

The Aerogard ® low retention, sterile 0.1-10µl tips are high clarity tips that are natural in colour. Due to their Universal design, the tips are compatible with a variety of popular brand pipette models, including the Alpha+ range of pipettes. They are 31mm in length and graduated at 2µl and 10µl for quick volume verification. Aerogard® tips feature a high density polyethylene (HDPE) filter that works as an effective barrier between the sample and the pipette, preventing cross contamination by aerosol and other liquid contaminants. The filter material is hydrophobic and will not absorb samples. The filter is also manufactured without any additives that could potentially contaminate samples. Alpha Laboratories low-retention tips are made from a specially formulated hydrophobic resin that provides users with a higher degree of pipetting confidence and control. Enhanced hydrophobicity ensures less fluid retention and sample loss than standard tips, perfect when working with particularly viscous liquids. The cleaner liquid release also means that less time is wasted waiting for that final drop to fall from the end of the tip. Furthermore, the thinner walls and finely tapered tip construction eliminates the need to touch off against the vessel wall. Smaller volumes can be confidently managed without compromising pipetting precision and accuracy. Strict quality standards, per ISO 9001:2008, are followed from tip R&D to production and delivery. Each batch of tips is required to pass the highest level of Quality Assurance testing. The tips are certified RNase, DNase DNA and Pyrogen free. Sterile tips are further e-beam irradiated. The tips can be autoclaved at 121 C and 100kPa for 15 minutes. The Aerogard® low retention, sterile 0.1-10µl tips are supplied in 10 individually wrapped racks of 96 tips.
