Product Information

The Drummond Programmable Nanoject III Nanolitre Injector has been designed for meticulous injection procedures into cellular models such as oocytes and embryos with delicate membranes. A number of enhanced features enable easy setup and operation as well as more accurate injection of nanolitre volumes down to 0.6 nl.

The operational modes enable the user to program the unit to do single manual injections, as well as multiple injection cycle recipes. The Nanoject III does not require any O-rings to secure the micropipette. A small chuck and a silicon receiver have been incorporated for the glass micropipette. This allows it to slide easily onto the wire, provided the collet has been loosened enough.

Program input and execution is enabled by prompted touchscreens located on the control box. Programmability, the lower injection volume capability plus the user’s ability to select the injection rate widens the potential range of applications for the Nanoject III. The unit is suitable for use between temperatures 10C to 35C, and at a maximum humidity of 60%.

The Nanoject III Programmable Nanolitre Injector is supplied as a kit that contains: The control box and power source, Injector, Injector head cable, vial of 100 3.5˝ glass capillaries, vial of 100 7˝ glass capillaries, Backfilling needle and a Universal adapter.

The Universal Power Source provides adapter plugs to enable the unit to be used in the UK, US, Europe and Australia simply by inserting the proper plug.
