Amplify Semi-Skirted 96-Well PCR Plates
PCR Plates designed to fit leading thermal cyclers including ABi Prism and GeneAmp series and Stratagene MX3000P. Available in both standard and low profile well formats.
This extremely popular design has a skirt on each side that drops approx 7mm down from the plate matrix. A low rim around the top of each well helps to prevent accidental cross-contamination and makes it ideally suited for plate sealing options including optically clear strip caps for QPCR or fluorescence based detection assays.
Alphanumeric well indexing is printed in black for easy identification of samples. Orientation cut at position A12.
Semi-skirted PCR plates offer a number of benefits. The skirt improves the stability of the plates and makes them easier to insert and extract than fully skirted plates, so they are ideal for automated handling and other robotic applications.
