PCR Foil

Adhesive and Heat Sealed foils for PCR Thermal Cycling. Including AlumaSeal II™, PeelASeal, ThermASeal and FoilSeal™ ranges.

Our adhesive PCR Foils combine soft non-permeable aluminium with strong medical-grade adhesive to eliminate the need for heat-sealing devices or mats when protecting samples and prevent evaporation during PCR thermal cycling. Compared to other aluminium foils, these soft foils have less tendency to roll back when removing the backing paper, and conform well to plates during application.

The PeelASeal Foil Super heat sealed foil is a laminate seal compatible with all plate types. It can be removed by peeling, even with a plate which has been removed directly from -80°C storage. PeelASeal Foil Super forms a complete seal to a plate enabling very low temperature uses, including very low temperature storage, and high temperature uses, such as PCR.

For high performance under extreme conditions the eXTReme™ FoilSeal™ is ideal for PCR, long-term compound storage, light-sensitive assays and robotics.
