Immunoglobulin G IgG turbidimetric assay manufactured by Dialab.
IgG is a predominant serum immunoglobulin. The measurement of IgG is important for typing immunodeficiencies and myelomas. Increase levels are found in chronic infections and chronic inflammation. IgG is the only immunoglobulin which crosses the placenta and is therefore of special importance in the infants defence against infection.
This Dialab IgG Immunoturbidimetric assay is a ready to use, dual reagent system (R1: 1x10ml; R2: 2x25ml) for quantitative determination of IgG in serum. The assay of IgG is based on turbidimetric measurement. Turbidity is caused by the formation of antigen-antibody insoluble immune complexes accelerated and enhanced in the presence of PEG.
Assay range 110-2700 mg/dL. Suitable for manual and automated procedure. . Calibrate with Dialab Protein Calibrators High (A00580) or Low (A00701). Suggested QC are Dialab Protein Controls (A00590 & A08591). Each kit provides 50 determinations when using a manual method.
