The GeneTouch™ thermal cycler is the flagship cycler in the Bioer range offering the maximum flexibility that can be tailored to your specific requirements.

The GeneTouch thermal cycler body accepts five interchangeable blocks, 96 and 384 well gradient, dual 48 well, universal (0.2 and 0.5ml tubes) and in situ, providing the flexibility to adapt to changing PCR formats. Blocks are purchased separately from the base unit enabling you to minimise costs by purchasing additional blocks only for different consumable types.

The rapid mechanism for changing blocks takes around 20 seconds and the base automatically recognises which block is in place, so no need to change any settings.

The 96 well gradient block enables rapid optimisation of protocols by setting a range of temperatures across the 12 rows of the block. Use this on your annealing step to determine the temperature which produces the best yields. Combined with the handy melting temperature calculator contained in the software on the base unit, you can determine your optimum temperature without performing multiple runs.

The 96 well block accepts up to 96x 0.2ml PCR tubes, 12x 8-strip PCR tubes, 8x 12-strip PCR tubes or 1x 96 well PCR plate.

At the heart of the GeneTouch thermal cycler is advanced Peltier technology from the world’s leading manufacturer, providing precise and rapid temperature control for accurate PCR and quality results. The GeneTouch is exceptionally quiet when running, so you hardly notice it’s there!

The height and temperature adjustable hot-lid enables oil-free operation with pressure adjustable fit for various laboratory consumables.

The choice of running multiple units from a LAN network, individually direct from a PC, or as stand-alone instruments provides very flexible operation.
