Tube Microcentrifuge APEX® White Label Graduated 0.5ml with fitted Cap Skirted Bottom Polypropylene Sterile

APEX® White Label Microcentrifuge Tubes are ideal for sample collection, processing and storage. These skirted-bottom, versatile and durable tubes are manufactured from high clarity, medical grade polypropylene and are solidly constructed for high-speed centrifugation up to 17,000g.

The APEX® White Label 0.5ml skirted bottom microcentrifuge tube has graduations and a large white writing panel and is supplied sterile with a fitted insert compatible cap. If additional caps are required the tubes are compatible with caps from the CP5326 (flat screw cap with O-ring) and CP5325 (insert compatible screw cap with O-ring) ranges.

The tubes are also certified to be RNase, DNase, DNA and Pyrogen free and can withstand extreme temperatures from -196C to +121C. The Apex White label tubes and compatible caps are manufactured from the same materials. This means both the caps and tubes will expand and contract at the same rate in response to temperature changes (e.g.. during freezing or thawing) thus minimising the possibility of leakage. In addition they are tested to be 95kPa compliant making them suitable for specimen transport to UN3373 regulations when combined with appropriate secondary (e.g.. Specisafe SH0100SS, SH0300SS and SH1300SS) and tertiary packaging (e.g.. SH1000 or SH1200).
