Tube Microcentrifuge APEX® Tamper Evident Graduated 0.5ml with Separate Cap Skirted Bottom Polypropylene Non-Sterile

APEX® Tamper Evident Microcentrifuge Tubes are ideal for sample collection, processing and storage. These versatile and durable tubes are manufactured from high clarity, medical grade polypropylene and are solidly constructed for high-speed centrifugation up to 20,000g for conical bottom tubes and 17,000g for skirted tubes.

The APEX® Tamper Evident 0.5ml skirted bottom microcentrifuge tube doesn’t have graduations and are supplied with separate caps. Additional Tamper Evident caps can be purchased separately TE5326N
The tubes are also certified to be RNase, DNase, DNA and Pyrogen free and can withstand extreme temperatures from -196C to +121C. The tubes and compatible caps are manufactured from the same materials. This means both the caps and tubes will expand and contract at the same rate in response to temperature changes (e.g.. during freezing or thawing) thus minimising the possibility of leakage. In addition they are tested to be 95kPa compliant making them suitable for specimen transport to UN3373 regulations when combined with appropriate secondary (e.g.. Specisafe SH0100SS, SH0300SS and SH1300SS) and tertiary packaging (e.g.. SH1000 or SH1200).
