The Paradigm™ Low-Retention Pipette Tips are designed to improve pipetting accuracy while also increasing throughput in more demanding liquid handling applications.
The 20-200µl tips are 51mm in length and graduated at 10µl, 50µl and 100µl for quick volume verification. Due to their Universal design, the tips are compatible with a variety of popular pipette brands and models, including the alpha+ range of pipettes.
The specially formulated proprietary resin, used in the manufacture of Paradigm™ tips, provides users with a higher degree of pipetting confidence and control. The enhanced hydrophobicity ensures less fluid retention and sample loss when compared to standard tips, perfect when working with particularly viscous liquids.
The cleaner liquid release also means that less time is wasted waiting for that final drop to fall from the end of the tip. Furthermore, the high-clarity thinner walls and finely tapered tip construction eliminates the need to touch off against the vessel wall. Smaller volumes can be confidently managed without compromising pipetting precision and accuracy.
The Paradigm™ Lift-and-Load Reload System is designed to simplify reloading empty racks without handling the actual tips, thus preventing contamination. No special alignment tools are required to quickly transfer a fresh grid of tips to an empty rack. Simply lift a grid from the protective paperboard packaging and clip it into an empty rack. For easy tip identification, the reload grids are imprinted with the tip size and the lot number, visible even when seated inside the rack.
Strict quality standards, per ISO 9001:2015, are followed from tip R&D to production and delivery. Each batch of tips is required to pass the highest level of Quality Assurance testing. The tips are certified detectable RNase, DNase DNA and Pyrogen free. The reloaded tips can be sterilised by autoclaving at 121 C and 15 psi for 15 minutes.
