Stem Cell Factor (SCF), Mouse, recombinant produced by FUJIFILM Wako Chemical Corporation
The stem cell factor is a protein which consists of 164 amino acids with a molecular weight of 18,300 which acts as a growth factor of hematopoietic cells in the early stage of haematopoiesis. In bone marrow culture, it promotes proliferation of myeloid progenitor cells, erythroid progenitor cells, and lymphatic progenitor cells.

Formulation: Lyophilised from 10mmol/L Sodium Phosphate, pH 6.5
Biological Activity: The ED50 is less than 10ng/ml determined by its ability to stimulate the proliferation of human TF-1 cells, corresponding to a specific activity of > 1 x105 units/mg.
Reconstitution: Reconstitute in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers.
Endotoxin: Less than 0.1 ng/µg
