The Sartorius Tacta® Pipette Multipacks offer an opportunity to test and get started with Tacta® mechanical pipettes. There are 8 multipack options to choose from ranging from a set of 3 to a set of 5 Tacta® pipettes. All the sets come with a Linear Stand for the safe storage of your pipettes as well as suitable, racked or bulk-packed Optifit tips to get you going.

The enhanced light-weight construction provides the most ergonomic, low pipetting cycle forces to reduce the risk of Work Related Upper Limb Disorder (WRULD).

The Optiload mechanism in both single and multichannel models ensures even tip sealing and simultaneously allows tips to be loaded and ejected with minimum force. Furthermore, the innovative Optiject soft tip ejection feature detaches the tip in a smooth, controlled manner
The Tacta® also includes dual-function volume locking to prevent accidental volume changes. A large, easy-to-read, four-digit volume pane improves correct volume setting. Additionally, all the Tacta® models are volume-colour coded to simplify selection of the corresponding Sartorius pipette tips.

Safe-Cone Filters are available for models above the 10µl pipetting volume, to protect both your sample and your pipette from contamination. The Safe-Cone filters can be easily and safely ejected using the unique, built-in Safe-Cone Filter ejection mechanism.

The Tacta® outer case materials have high chemical and UV- resistance to ensure a longer life-span of the pipette.

The Tacta® pipette is simple to clean with only three parts to disassemble. It is also fully autoclavable without disassembly.

Calibration adjustment is much easier with the adjustment scale on the Tacta®, ensuring accurate results, even in cases where factory calibration does not apply – for example when pipetting viscous liquids.

The calibration of Tacta® is based on ISO 8655-6: gravimetric test method for volumetric instruments. It has been factory-checked using the forward-pipetting technique and certified according to ISO 3696 at 22°C using grade-3 distilled water.

The pipette calibration should be adjusted when necessary, for example when reverse pipetting, when pipetting liquids other than water, when using the pipette at high altitudes, or when the geometry of the tip you use clearly differs from standard tip geometry.
