Phos-tag™ Mass Analysis Set manufactured by Nard Institute and Manac Incorporated and distributed in association with Wako Pure Chemicals.
Phos-tag™ is a novel labelling system for analysis of phosphorylation. The Phos-Tag, developed by the Department of Functional Molecular Science at Hiroshima University, recognises the phosphate monoester group. The Phos-tag Mass Analytical Kit uses isotopic Zn2+-Phos-tag complexes for rapid, sensitive detection by matrix assisted laser Desorption/Ionization – time of flight (MALDI-TOF) Mass Spectrometry. The kit comprises three reagents, Phos-tag MS101N, Phos-tag MS-101L and Phos-tag MS-101H. These non-radioactive compounds are Phos-tag-zinc (II) complexes containing natural zinc (Zn), 64Zn and 68Zn supplied as crystalline powder.
