Alpha Laboratories Gel Loading Tips are manufactured from medical-grade virgin polypropylene. The low-binding resin reduces protein loss and maximises sample delivery; ideal for precise and accurate dispensing of microlitre volumes. These 200 µl, sterile, graduated gel loading tips are 82.55 mm in height. They have a round orifice of 0.57 mm thickness. The long thin capillary section of each tip fits between gel plates to enable accurate filling between the gel comb teeth. Gel loading tips are the convenient choice for loading both vertical and horizontal electrophoresis gels. They are suitable for use with most popular brand single and multi-channel pipettes for quick gel loading steps. They have been certified RNase, DNase, DNA, PCR inhibitor and Pyrogen-free. Sterilisation is by e-beam irradiation. The tips are autoclavable and are conveniently packed in a hinged 96-tip rack with a unique lid-locking mechanism that enables one-handed operation for easy opening and secure locking.
