The 1.5ml Volume Adaptor Insert is a skirted, flat -bottomed insert for use with 15.2mm diameter tubes. The insert has a 1mm edge that allows it to rest securely on the rim of the tube. When inserted into the tube it converts the working volume of the tube to 1.5ml, ideal when working with paediatric samples as this enables you to run them alongside adult patient samples. The inserts are 30mm high with an internal diameter of 8mm. They are made from homopolymer polypropylene and are supplied in non-sterile bulk packs of 4000. A 3.0ml insert for 15.2mm tubes is also available.
