Petri Dish Single Vent 90mm Polystyrene Aseptically produced Ideal for micro-organism cultures

Petri Dishes are routinely used by microbiologists to culture micro-organisms on solid media. These 90mm Single Vent Petri Dishes are manufactured from virgin polystyrene in mirror finished moulds to ensure the highest optical clarity. They are aseptically manufactured under clean room conditions (class 7 ISO14644) to exclude microbiological contamination. The Petri Dishes are produced and tested in accordance with the BS611 Part 2 Standard which includes stringent dimensional controls. The precise dimensions make them compatible with a variety of automatic plate pourers. The Petri Dishes have an outer diameter of 89.25mm and a height of 16.2mm. The single vent design of these petri dishes limits gaseous exchange, minimises evaporation and dehydration making them well suited for long term work. The Single Vent Petri Dishes are supplied in a pack of 500 with inner packs of 20.
