Microtitre Plates 96 Deep-well 2.2ml Polypropylene Square well with Round-Bottom Non-Sterile Alpha-numeric Index SBS Footprint

Deep-well microtitre plates are perfect for high throughput screening. Conforming to the SBS footprint these plates are compatible with leading robotic sample processors, automated liquid handling systems and 8- or 12-channel pipettes.
These 96 well plates are suitable for numerous applications including combinatorial chemistry, cell or bacterial culture, DNA sequencing or library storage, but are mostly used for compound storage and enzyme assays. They are suitable for use with Qiagen equipment.

These plates have square aperture wells, measuring 8.3 by 8.3mm. The wells have a U-shaped bottom for maximum sample recovery, and incorporate a moulded alphanumeric index and cut corners at positions A1 and H1 for easy orientation. The total well capacity is 2.2ml when uncapped with a working volume of 2.1ml.
Made from polypropylene plates are opaque, DMSO resistant and have a centrifuge rating of 6000g. Polypropylene plates are ideal for cold storage with a temperature range of -196C to +121C (sealing mats have a range of -80C to +80C).

Both plates and sealing mats are available in sterile format only.
