Product Information
The LA-Sporo antibody system is a qualitative screening latex agglutination test for the detection of agglutinating antibodies in serum specimens from patients infected with Sporothrix schenkii. The test is designed to be fast, sensitive and easy to perform. Specimens are usually positive early in the course of primary infection and become negative within the first few months of chronic infection. This is because the test primarily detects IgM antibodies.
