Product Information

The clarus Histoplasma Galactomannan EIA is an immunoenzymatic, sandwich microplate assay used for the quantitative detection of Histoplasma galactomannan in urine samples. Monoclonal Anti-Histoplasma IgG antibodies bound to microwell plates are used as capture antibodies and horseradish peroxidase (HRP) conjugated anti-Histoplasma monoclonal IgG antibodies are used as detection reagents. Urine specimens are run untreated. The Histoplasma Galactomannan EIA is a test which, when used in conjunction with other diagnostic procedures such as microbiological culture, histological examination of biopsy samples, and radiographic evidence, can be used as an aid in the diagnosis of histoplasmosis.
The protocol includes “Standard Curve Procedure” and an optional “Calibrator Cut-off Procedure” for limiting the number of standards used.
