Trypsin (porcine pancreas) MS Grade produced by FUJIFILM Wako Pure Chemical Corporation
Proteins separated by electrophoresis are may be excised from polyacrylamide gels and subject to in-gel digestion with proteolytic enzymes in preparation for further downstream analysis such as mass spectrometry for peptide identification and analysis of post-translation modifications.
This preparation of trypsin has been prepared from porcine pancreas and is of suitable grade for mass spectrometry work. Trypsin cleaves the C terminal of Arginine (Arg) and Lysine (Lys).
Use alone or in combination with Lysyl Endopeptidase (C terminal Lys cleavage) for in-gel digest of protein samples prior to analysis by MALDI-TOF or LS-MS.
