The multifunctional EveryDay Specimen Containers have been designed for day to day, routine sample handling applications. The jars are made from durable polypropylene and a wide variety of high density polyethylene (HDPE) colour caps are available to order separately.



EveryDay Specimen Containers are food contact approved and testing has been carried out to for suitability with aggressive chemicals such as formaldehyde. They are widely used in a range of applications including pathology, histology, water sampling and metals analysis.



The high-clarity jar is skirted with a flat base, to ensure contents and their volumes are easily visible. These robust containers are ideal for liquid or solid specimen collection, transportation and storage in harsh conditions.



A process validation has been carried out on these disposable plastic specimen containers to ensure the unique “double seal” closure technology remains leak-proof under a pressure differential of not less 95 kPa (0.95 bar,14 psi). The jars are only certified to be leak-proof to 95kPa when used with the EveryDay range of colour caps.



This certification makes them suitable for sample transport according to UN3373 packaging instructions, when combined with appropriate secondary and tertiary packaging, e.g. SpeciSafe® or other Rigid Flexible Packaging Systems.
