Palladium-Fibroin 1g produced by FUJIFILM Wako Chemicals for organic synthesis
This product is a heterogeneous catalyst combining palladium acetate and fibroin. It’s functions include selective contact reduction of various functional groups. Pd-Fib does not have reduction activity to aromatic carbonyl, aromatic halogen, benzyl ester and aromatic N-Cbz groups which are easily reduced, when Pd-C and Pd/C (en) are used as catalysts, and therefore, in the presence of those substances, it can selectively reduce olefin, acetylene and azide.
