Product Information
The Wakopak® Wakosil® Series of HPLC columns use highly purified silica gel with low metallic contamination. Low pressure loss results in high-purity separation and high-flow rate. Special columns for analysis of specific samples are also available including semi-micro columns for LC/MS and semi-preparative columns. Available with Waters or DuPont style joints.
Wakopak Wakosil AS-Aqua is a column that is suitable for the analysis of the negative-ion surfactants. Isomers of linear sodium alkylbenzene sulfonate (LAS) with the same alkyl chain length are eluted as a single peak, and compounds having benzene sulfonic acid residue in the chain terminal are eluted separately through this column. Improvement in detection sensitivity and simplification of quantitative calculation become possible by eluting compounds with the same alkyl chain length as a single peak.
