Collagenase Type X produced by FUJIFILM Wako Chemical Corporation

Type X collagenase from Clostridium histolyticum. This matrix metalloprotease breaks the peptide bonds in collagen and is specific for the collagen substrate. This product is intended to break down extracellular matrices for tissue dissociation to isolate cells from liver, but may also be used to dissociate cells from thyroid and salivary glands and heart tissue. It can also be used to hydrolyse collagen within assay protocols to determine or quantify collagen in cultured cells.
