SB431542 is a selective inhibitor of TGF-B superfamily type 1 activin receptor-like kinase (ALK) and inhibits ALK4,5 and 7. SB431542 stimulates proliferation, differentiation, and sheet formation of ES cells-derived endothelial cells. Additionally, when combined with thiazovivan and PD0325901, SB431542 improves reprogramming efficiency to more than 200 times and accelerates reprogramming speed.

-Appearance white to slightly yellowish brown, crystalline powder
-Solubility: soluble in DMSO, acetonitrile, acetone, and ethanol
