BAMBANKER™ Direct produced by Lymphotec Inc distributed via FUJIFILM Wako Chemicals Europe GmbH
BAMBANKER™ Direct is a novel cell freezing medium that can be added directly to culture medium for preservation of suspension cultures. Add a volume of BAMBANKER Direct that is equivalent to that of the culture medium and mix by pipetting gently. The cell suspension can then be transferred to cryogenic vials for immediate storage at -80°C. Even when using adherent cultures the process is faster and easier than conventional protocols – remove medium and wash twice with PBS before addition of detachment solution. Once cells are detached add an equal volume of BAMBANKER Direct and transfer to storage vials.

OKT4 (mouse hybridoma)
HEK293 (human embryonic kidney cell line)
HEK293T (human embryonic kidney cell line)
HeLa (human uterine cervical cancer cell line)
K562 (human chronic myeloid leukaemia cell line)
C2C12 (mouse skeletal muscle cell line)
PC12 (rat adrenal medulla tumor cell line)
Quality Assurance: Sterility, endotoxin (chromogenic substrate method), mycoplasma (Fluorescent antibody method), fungi and bacteria (as per Japanese Pharmacopoeia)
